Modular Physical AI Platform

Riemann Robotics addresses the global labor shortage in the indoor, blue-collar sector through its unique modular Physical AI platform approach.

a passion for robots

As a spin-off from the computer vision lab of Technical University Berlin, we are passionate about innovation in the realm of robotic perception and robot-environment interaction.

By combining our proprietary mobile physical AI platform featuring a rear mounted robotic arm with use-case specific functional modules, we can address following B2B-markets:

Transporting patients and medical supplies

How: physical AI platform + seating module

Where: hospitals

Cleaning floors, handrails, and door handles

How: physical AI platform + cleaning module

Where: hospitals, schools & universities, office buildings etc.

Serving food and clearing tables

How: physical AI platform + waiter module

Where: Restaurants

Scan and restock shelves

How: physical AI platform + grocery module

Where: supermarkets

Operating machines

How: physical AI platform + shopfloor module

Where: manufacturing facilities

many more

Where do we start?

We start with the application with the easiest robot-environment interaction we could think of: Transport of patients and medical supplies (e.g. blood samples) within hospitals.

Robot-environment interaction

  • Easy interaction: Transport patients & press buttons of elevators and fire protection doors (as hospital transport personnel does)
  • Hardest interaction: Transport groceries & grab (deformable) groceries with different shapes, sizes and weights & orient item so that the label points forward & place them in shelf
  • Riemann Robotics starts with the tasks that require little robot-environment interaction. As the technology advances we will address more complex tasks

MVP of our modular physical AI platform

  • autonomous driving (i.e. localization and navigation)
  • autonomus robot-environment interaction (e.g. pressing elevator buttons)
  • only off-the-shelf hardware

Our first application

  • physical AI platform + seating module = autonomous wheelchair
  • transports patients and medical goods within a hospital
  • presses elevator buttons and fire protection door openers

We are raising our pre-seed round in Q2/Q3 2026!
